Gaius Papirius Maso (Decemvir)

Gaius Papirius Maso († 213 BC ) was a member of the Roman family of the Papirii .

He is mentioned in the sources as Decemvir Sacris Faciundis , so he belonged to one of the most important Roman priests' colleges. In this capacity he appears in one of the four founding documents of the cities of Placentia and Cremona . This is seen in research as an indication, if only weak, of a praetur in the year 218 BC. Rated. He was cousin of the consul of the same name in 231 BC. BC, Gaius Papirius Maso . Lucius Papirius Maso was probably his son.
