The Galån in southern Jämtland is a mountain river that flows from Oviksfjäll into Ljungan between the lakes (Stor-) Börtnen and Lill-Börtnen. Among other things, it passes the alpine pastures Västra Galåbodarna and Östra Galåbodarna.
