The Galata Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Галата saliw Galata ) is a 1.93 km wide and 2.18 km long bay on the northeast coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located south of Frolosh Point and north of Deliradev Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1980. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after Cape Galata on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast .
