Galbraith Mountain is the common name for North Lookout Mountain , located between the communities of Sudden Valley and Bellingham in Whatcom County in Washington state . Galbraith Mountain has two main peaks which are 1,365 ft (416 m) and 1,785 ft (544 m) high, respectively. While not even the highest peaks on Lookout Mountain, they are present throughout western Whatcom County. There are many approaches to the mountain; the most popular are from the north on Birch Street, a side street of Lakeway Drive in Bellingham, and from the south via Galbraith Lane, a side street of the Samish Way in Lakeway.
There are four radio masts on Galbraith Mountain , three on the summit and one about 100 ft (30 m) below. Is on the slopes logging operation, the lines of sight from the paths that cross the area and across pull has opened. The company Trillium and the Whatcom Independent Mountain Pedalers (Whimps) installed several kiosks and art in the area, including a repair service for bicycles .
