Richard Eder (born January 1, 1940 in Linz ) is an Austrian gallery owner .

Live and act

After the compulsory school he graduated from in 1954, the laboratory assistant - teaching and practiced this profession until 1995 in Chemie Linz from. He also attended a sculpture course with Hannes Haslecker in Linz and enamel courses in Germany . In 1970 he moved to the “Im Dörfl” studio in Linz and received several awards. The gallery owner married in 1964 and has two daughters.

Gallery Eder

In 1975 he opened the Galerie Eder in his own apartment , organized regular exhibitions of works of contemporary art for 35 years until the closure in 2010 and thus offered numerous artists a start.
