The Galiche Rock (English; Bulgarian скала Галиче skala Galitsche ) is a north-west-south-east orientation 300 m long and 180 m wide cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 0.15 km northeast of Somovit Point , 0.78 km south of Kitchen Point and 0.9 km north of Batuliya Point off the east coast of Robert Island .
British scientists mapped it in 1968, Bulgarian in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Galitsche in northwestern Bulgaria .
