Jean-Denis Rieubland

Jean-Denis Rieubland (* 1973 in Agen ) is a French chef.

Career

Rieubland went to the hotel management school in Cannes at the age of 14 , two years later to the hotel management school in Nice and then completed an apprenticeship in Nice. After his first professional experience and military service, he cooked for two years in the starred restaurant La Côte . In 1995 Rieubland switched to La Tour d'Argent (three Michelin stars ) in Paris . In 1996 he went to the Hotel Villa Florentine in Lyon and in 1997 to the Restaurant Lapérouse in Paris. From 1999 he cooked for Serge Gouloumè in Théoule-sur-Mer . From 2001 to 2005 he worked at the Le Mas Candille restaurant in Mougins .

In 2007 he became head chef at the Hotel Negresco in Nice . The restaurant Le Chantecler was awarded a Michelin star in 2008. The second star came in 2012.

In January 2018 he became head chef at the Royal Champagne Hotel in Champillon near Epernay .
