Galit Eilat (* 1965 in Haifa , Israel ) is an Israeli video artist , curator and author who lives and works in the Netherlands .

Life

Eilat was born in the Israeli port city of Haifa in 1965. From 1989 to 1993 she attended the Kalisher School of Art in Tel Aviv .

She founded the Israeli Center for Digital Art in Holon in 2001 and was director there until 2010. In 2011 she moved to the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, as a curator . Since then she has founded several museums and events around the world and is also active as a curator.
