The Gallup Glacier is a 20 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flows in the Queen Maud Mountains in an easterly direction between Mount Rosenwald and Mount Black to the Shackleton Glacier , into which it joins north of Matador Mountain .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Frederick S. Gallup Jr. (1921-1984) of the United States Navy , commanding officer of the VX-6 flight squadron during Operation Deep Freeze in 1965.
