The Gambia Basketball Federation (GBF) ( German : Gambischer Basketballverband ) is the umbrella organization of basketball clubs in the West African state of Gambia .
The Gambia Basketball Federation joined the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA) in 1972 and assigned to the FIBA Africa zone . It organizes the Gambian basketball league and the Gambian national basketball team .
The president of the association is Mam Essa Gaye, the general secretary is Mohamadou M. Njie (as of 2007).
