The Gambian national basketball team represents Gambia in men's international basketball games. Her greatest success was taking part in and finishing 9th in the 1978 African Basketball Championship .
The team is currently not listed in the FIBA world rankings , in the world rankings the team was 83rd in the 1997/1998 season.
