The Beninese national basketball team is the selection of Beninese basketball players that the Fédération Béninoise de Basketball represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was ninth place at the 1974 African Cup of Nations . In 1962, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In January 2014, the team was not included in the men's world rankings .
