The Senegalese national basketball team for men represents Senegal at international basketball matches. It is traditionally one of the strongest national teams in Africa and, after winning a bronze medal at the 2013 African Championships, also qualified for the 2014 World Cup. With the exception of the first edition in 1962, they always took part in the continental finals of the African Championship and won 15 medals in 26 participations.
