The Liberian national basketball team is the selection of Liberian basketball players that the Liberia Basketball Federation represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was the ninth place at the African Cup of Nations 1983 . In 1964, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was led to 85th place in the men's world rankings .
