The men's national basketball team of Burkina Faso represents Burkina Faso at international basketball matches. Almost 50 years after joining FIBA , the men's selection qualified for the final round of the African Basketball Championship for the first time in 2013 . There, however, the team did not succeed in another victory and they finished 16th and last place in the finals.
Born in Yaba , Burkinabe and active as a professional in France, Fréjus Zerbo plays internationally for the Ivorian national team of the neighboring country.
