The Guinean national basketball team is the selection of Guinean basketball players that the Fédération Guinéenne de Basket-Ball represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the selection teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was fourth place at the first African Championships in 1962 . In the same year the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In January 2014, the team was not included in the men's world rankings .
