The Malian national basketball team for men represents Mali at international basketball matches. The Malian selection is a regular participant in the finals of the continental African championship and has so far participated in 17 of 26 events. 1972 succeeded with winning the bronze medal, the only medal win so far, so that it has not yet been enough to qualify for a global final at the World Cup or the Olympic Games .
