The Gabonese national basketball team is the selection of Gabonese basketball players that the Fédération Gabonaise de Basket-Ball represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest successes were reaching ninth place at the African Championships in 1993 and 2005 . In 1965, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In January 2014, the team was not included in the men's world rankings .
