The Chadian national basketball team for men represents Chad at international basketball matches. Almost 50 years after joining FIBA , the men's selection qualified for the final round of the African Basketball Championship for the first time in 2011 . There they reached the 15th and penultimate place after the only victory in the last placement game over the Togolese team .
