Stade Lorrain Université Club Nancy Basket is a French basketball club . It is based in Nancy and was founded in 1967. The team plays their home games at the Palais des Sports Jean Weille . The club played for a long time in the top French league LNB Pro A , which it completed in 2008 for the first time as French champions after three defeats in the finals in a row (2005 to 2007). 2011 one could celebrate the championship, but in 2017 was followed by the descent into second-rate again LNB Pro B .
