Panelefsiniakos AO ( Greek Πανελευσινιακός Α.Ο. ) is a Greek basketball team from Elefsina . The club currently plays in the Greek A2 league , the second highest league in the country.

history

After winning the European Cup Winners' Cup by AEK Athens in 1968 - the first Greek international title - and the resulting desire of residents Elefsinas on those responsible for the roof association for an independent basketball department, this was 1969.

Panelefsiniakos played continuously in the fourth class Gamma Ethniki until 2009 and was able to secure the championship in this period in 2000 and 2009. In 2010, the club started in the B Ethniki and immediately made it to the A2 Ethniki after just one season . After two more seasons, Panelefsiniakos rose in 2012 as table first and champion in the highest Greek league, the Basket League . For the 2014/2015 season , she had to accept relegation.
