Game Over is an Italian thrash metal band from Ferrara that was formed in 2008.

history

The band was founded in the summer / autumn of 2008 and consisted of the singer and bassist Renato "Reno" Chiccoli, the guitarists Luca "Ziro" Zironi and Alessandro "Sanso" Sansone and the drummer Marcello "Med" Medas. After a first self-titled demo and an EP Heavy Damage were released in 2009 and the first concerts were held in Italy, the band signed a contract with My Graveyard Productions in 2011 . The band then went to Simone Mularonis ( DGM , Empyrios ) Domination Studio to record their debut album. The sound carrier was released in January 2012 under the name For Humanity by My Graveyard Productions. Meanwhile, Anthony "Vender" Dantone joined the line-up as the new drummer. To promote the album, various concerts followed in Austria , the Netherlands , Belgium and Germany at the Headbangers Open Air in 2013. In February 2014 the band went to the Domination Studio to record a new album. This was released on June 23, 2014 on Scarlet Records .

Inhonorus from stormbringer.at described the music on Burst into the Quiet as fast-played, aggressive Thrash Metal. In the songs the band often reminds of groups such as Exodus , Testament or the early Metallica .
