Al Nasl (from Arabic النصل, DMG an-Naşl 'the arrowhead', American Spelling of the IAU: Alnasl ) Bayer name Gamma2 Sagittarii ( γ 2 Sgr for short ) is a giant in the constellation Sagittarius with the spectral class K and an apparent visual brightness of 3.0 mag, about 100 light years away from our solar system . Its neighboring star γ 1 Sgr is a 4.7 mag bright star of the spectral class G0Ib / II C and is not gravitationally bound to Al Nasl, as it is approx. 850 ly. Away .
