Cabinet Den Uyl

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Den Uyl cabinet formed the government of the Netherlands from May 11, 1973 to December 19, 1977. It was a coalition of the social democratic PvdA with the two smaller, progressive parties PPR and D66 , which was supported by the Christian democratic parties KVP and ARP . Members of the KVP and ARP were also represented in the cabinet, but - at least formally - only in their own name, not as representatives of their parties.

The cabinet consisted of 16 ministers and 17 state secretaries.
