Gandersheim rhyming chronicle

The Gandersheimer Reimchronik is created in the first half of the 13th century, Low German rhythmic chronicle the history of the congregation Gandersheim .

The chronicle was written by Eberhard von Gandersheim between 1216 and 1218 . The aim of the writing was to instruct the ministerials of the monastery. The chronicle covers the history of the monastery from the beginnings of the monastery in the 9th century to the time of the constitution.
