The passage grave of Leby ( Swedish Gånggriften i Leby ), northeast of the hamlet Leby, in the south of the island of Orust in Västra Götalands län in Sweden , was built around 5,000 years ago by the bearers of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) and in 1915 by the archaeologist Wilhelm Ekman, who also excavated the passage grave of Lunden and the nearby dolmen of Haga ( Swedish Hagadosen ). The passage grave at Leby is one of the largest in the province.

The passage grave dates from the Neolithic around 3500–2800 BC. BC and is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). It is almost completely covered by a 1.8 meter high round hill that is about 18.0 m in diameter. The chamber consists of twelve supporting stones, which were set up with the flat side inward. The ceiling consists of three large capstones. From the south-eastern side of the chamber there is a narrow, six-meter-long corridor, which consists of ten bearing stones and was covered with three ceiling stones. There is a threshold stone at the outer mouth of the passageand a door stone on the chamber side. The current access to the 3.8 m long and 2.9 m wide chamber was created later.

With regard to the size and construction of the passage grave, the grave goods are modest. Besides bone scraper and three were one arrowhead made of flint , a bead of amber and zerscherbte pottery found. Four clay balls, a flint, pieces of bones, some iron fragments and ceramic shards come from subsequent burials from the Bronze and Iron Ages.
