The Gannutz Glacier is a glacier with a structureless surface on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . From the Bowers Mountains it flows north to Rennick Bay , which it reaches between Weeder Rock and the Stuhlinger Piedmont Glacier .
The area was mapped by the United States Geological Survey and United States Navy aerial photographs from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1970 after the American biologist Theodore P. Gannutz, who worked at the Hallett Station between 1966 and 1967 and was the scientific director of the Palmer Station in 1968.
