Single-family house Hellmuth Schiffner
The Hellmuth Schiffner single-family house is located in the Niederlößnitz district of the Saxon city of Radebeul , at Heinrich-Heine-Straße 12.
description
The two-storey villa , including the associated garage, is a listed building . The three-by-two-axis single-family house with enclosed practice rooms stands along the street on a natural stone base. It is protected on top by a protruding, bent hipped roof with tile covering and hipped dormers . A short side wing adjoins the rear of the building, facing north towards the garden.
In the simply plastered facade facing the street or the front garden, there are three symmetrically arranged window axes: All windows are surrounded by narrow colored bottles , the upper floor windows are accompanied by folding shutters. The windows on the central axis are roughly square and in three parts with an internal rung. The outer windows are two-part on the upper floor and four-part on the ground floor, which makes them look rectangular and as wide as the window above including the folding shutters.
On the left side of the property there is a paved courtyard area: From this the house entrance leads above a short flight of stairs through a arched door. At the end of the courtyard there is a garage with a hipped roof and arched, double-winged wooden gate in a natural stone frame. A plaster wall with openings in sandstone arches forms the end of the courtyard between the garage and the house.
The enclosure is a wooden fence with decking and base boards, the supporting pillars are made of concrete.
history
The building application from September 1938 was submitted for the doctor Hellmuth Schiffner by the architect Franz Wachter. The building permit dates from the end of January 1940.
A doctor practiced in-house until the 2010s.
