Garai Zeeb

Garai Zeeb (born April 6, 1997 in Leimen ) is a German basketball player. He is a development player and is 1.87 meters tall.

Career

In his youth he played for BSG Bremerhaven . He gained his first experience in the men's field at BSG in the 2nd regional league in the 2013/14 season.

From the 2014/15 season he was part of the extended professional squad of the Bundesliga club Eisbären Bremerhaven and was also eligible to play for the second division club Cuxhaven BasCats .

In 2015 Zeeb moved to the Bundesliga club Fraport Skyliners in Frankfurt. In 2016 he won the FIBA Europe Cup with Frankfurt . In April 2017, he signed a new contract with the Frankfurt team until 2019. Zeeb remained a supplementary player in the Frankfurt Bundesliga team and collected additional time in the second team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . After 64 first division games for Hessen, he moved to Bundesliga competitor Basketball Löwen Braunschweig in summer 2019 . He signed a three-year contract with Lower Saxony.

National team

In the summer of 2015, Zeeb took part with the German selection at the U18 European Championship in Greece. In May 2017 he was appointed to the squad of the U20 national team and in July of the same year reached seventh place with the DBB selection at the U20 European Championship. He was used in all seven tournament games and scored 0.3 points on average.
