Abu Said Gardezi

Abu Saʿīd Abdul-Hay ibn Dhaḥḥāk ibn Maḥmūd Gardēzī ( Persian ابوسعید عبدالحی بن ضحاک بن محمود گردیزی; † approx. 1061) was a Persian-Muslim geographer and historian of the early 11th century from Gardez . Gardezi's work “Zayn Al-Akhbar” is considered to be an important work for Islamic , Central Asian , Eastern European , Persian and Hungarian history. Gardezi offers one of the classic examples of Persian prose .
