Gargunnock is a town in the Scottish Council Area Stirling . Gargunnock is located about nine kilometers west of Stirling and 28 kilometers north-northeast of central Glasgow . In 2011 there were 752 inhabitants.

Between 1795 and 1923 the nationally important whiskey distillery Glenfoyle was operated in Gargunnock , which was created from the split up of the former Kepp distillery . The Easterkepp distillery, which emerged as the second operation from the split, was closed in 1842. There are many commuters living in Gargunnock today.
