Kuzzy took part in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski from 2001 to 2011 . He mainly competed in the Nor-Am Cup and the US Super Tour, which he finished in first place in the overall standings in 2008 . He won a total of seven races in the US Super Tour and one race in the Nor-Am Cup. His first of a total of 18 World Cup races he completed in January 2008 in Canmore , which he finished in 49th place in the 30 km pursuit race. Four days later he got his first World Cup points with ninth place in the sprint. This was also his best place in a World Cup race. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , he finished 44th in the sprint and 43rd in the 50 km mass start race. In January 2010 he finished second in the sprint at the US Championship. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he achieved 58th place in the 15 km freestyle, 47th place in the sprint and 13th place with the relay.
