Gary Carlsen
Gary David Carlsen (born May 12, 1945 in Ashland , Kentucky ) is a former American discus thrower .
In 1967 he won the Pan American Games in Winnipeg and the Universiade in Tokyo, and in 1968 he was sixth at the Olympic Games in Mexico City .
In 1967 he became US champion. His personal best of 64.14 m he set on August 28, 1968 in Reno .
