Gary Havelock

Gary Havelock (born November 4, 1968 in Middlesbrough ) is a British speedway driver and world champion from 1992.

Career

He started in the Premier League at the age of 15 and became U21 World Champion in 1987 when he was just 19 years old. In 1995 and 1996 he started in the Grand Prix. He only ended his career this season.

For the British TV broadcaster Sky Sports, Gary "Havvy" Havelock is now a co-commentator on league races and Grand Prix races, alongside his ex-racing driver opponents Kelvin Tatum and Sam Ermolenko .
