Kelvin Tatum
Kelvin Martin Tatum (born February 8, 1964 in Epsom , England ) is a former British track athlete . His main focus was on long track races as well as on speedway events . He was much more successful on the long track, where he was three times individual world champion . He also secured the European grass track championship in 1995.
Tatum took part in the finals of the Speedway Individual World Championship seven times . He achieved his best placement in 1986 with the bronze medal in Chorzów, Poland .
In 2004 he ended his career. Since then he has worked for the British TV broadcaster Sky as a commentator on speedway events. In 2003 he was made a Member of the British Empire .
