Gary Victor
Gary Victor (* 1958 in Port-au-Prince ) is a writer in Haiti . He is one of the most famous authors in his country. He works in his home country for the theater , for film , television and for radio .
biography
Gary Victor is the son of the sociologist René Victor. Victor was originally an agronomist . After graduating, he worked for various ministries in Haiti; he knows his country's bureaucracy.
He has received several awards for his writing. The investigator in his crime novels is Inspector Dieuswalwe Azémar. Gary Victor has written several novels, most of which were published in Haiti; since 2013 there have been translations into German.

criticism
- Gary Victor knows his way around. He has worked as a civil servant in various governments, was General Secretary of the Senate of the Republic and briefly General Director of the Ministry of Culture. He is one of Haiti's most widely read authors, and his satirical radio columns are heard across the island. (Criticism in times of pigs , 2013)
