Gasisa Akhmetovna Schubanowa ( Kazakh Ғазиза Жұбанова , Russian Газиза Ахметовна Жубанова ; born December 2, 1927 in Schann-Turmis ; † December 13, 1993 in Alma-Ata ) was a Kazakh composer .

The daughter of the composer Akhmet Kuanowitsch Schubanow studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Yuri Shaporin . She lived as a composer in Alma-Ata. In addition to two operas and two ballets, she composed a symphonic poem, a violin concerto, chamber music works, an oratorio , a cantata , choral works, songs, plays and film scores.
