Gaston Nicole

Gaston Nicole (* 1935 ) is a Swiss journalist and long-time employee of Télévision suisse romande .

After eight years of journalism at the Gazette de Lausanne , Nicole moved to Télévision suisse romande in 1967 , where the position of the Federal Palace correspondent was created for him. In 1979 he was appointed head of the news department and editor-in-chief of the Téléjournal , a post he held until the end of 1990. He participated in the programs Le fait du jour , Agora , Tell Quel , Table ouverte , en direct avec ... and affaires publiques . He also published a biography of Pierre Arnold , the patron saint of Migros . He presided over the Nyon Documentary Film Festival and was a co-founder of the Nyon Région télévision .
