Since the company was founded in 1995, the continuous expansion of the pipeline network has been an important point on GVP's agenda in order to meet the increasing demand for natural gas. In 2012, 1,400,000 euros were invested in expanding the network and promoting energy-efficient natural gas solutions; the pipeline network for supplying GVP customers in the Pforzheim region now has a total length of around 364,900 meters. Products and services

GVP supplies customers across Germany with natural gas. In addition to conventional natural gas, the company also sells bio natural gas, which is obtained from vegetable raw materials and processed to natural gas quality. The product GVP natural gas is used to sell natural gas with a 10 or 30 percent share of bio natural gas. The product not only serves to protect the climate, but also to fulfill the Renewable Heat Act Baden-Württemberg (EWärmeG-BW).

The energy services include the creation of energy and thermographic certificates and the installation of a natural gas house connection. In order to reduce costs, GVP offers its customers energy advice and support through subsidy programs. In addition, industry and trade have the opportunity to obtain advice on the subject of combined heat and power plants and combined heat and power from GVP.
