The Gavin Piedmont Glacier is a 24 km long and between 5 and 10 km wide foreland glacier in the north of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It extends on the north coast of the Trinity Peninsula from Charcot Bay to the Russell West Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped him based on surveys he carried out between 1960 and 1961. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier on February 12, 1964 after the British pilot Christopher Brathwaite Gavin-Robinson (1911-1993), participant of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956-1957).
