The Charcot Bay is a bay on the Davis Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It stretches for 16 km between Cape Kater and Cape Kjellman . The Lindblad Cove and Ognen Cove are secondary bays.
It was discovered during the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld . He named it after the French polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot (1876–1936).
