The Ognen Cove ( Bulgarian залив Огнен saliw Ognen ) is a 2.8 km wide and 1.55 km long bay on the Davis Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is part of Charcot Bay and is west of Nikyup Point .
The retreat of the Andrew Glacier in the second half of the 20th century exposed them. German and British scientists carried out their mapping in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2016 after the village of Ognen in southeastern Bulgaria .
