Gebharda Frank
Maria Gebharda Frank OSF (born October 21, 1927 in Seckach ) was Superior General of the Franciscan Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus .
Life
Born as Lydia Frank, she entered the order of the Franciscan Sisters in Gengenbach in 1949, where she took the name Maria Gebharda. Frank made his profession in 1954. After training as a technical draftsman, she studied social pedagogy and then taught social pedagogy until 1988 at the Gengenbach technical school , of which she had been the director since 1976. From 1988 to 1994 Sister Gebharda Frank was vicar general of her congregation and from 1994 to 2006 its superior general. Sixta Zapf followed her as General Superior.
