The memorial stones in Bredenbeck are six listed stones in the village of Bredenbeck in the Wennigsen community . These are mainly memorial stones. They are recognized architectural monuments in the monuments list of the lower monument protection authority of the Hanover region .

Triangular stone

Landmark. Erected in 1815 on the boundary of the Bredenbecker Feldmark to the Kniggeschen Forsten near Bredenbeck and Steinkrug. Location on the edge of the forest on the edge of the Deister forest.

Ernst and Adele Stein

The stone standing in the area of ​​the lime works was erected on the occasion of the golden wedding of Ernst Freiherr Knigge and his wife Adele Countess von Bernstorff. Knigge was the authorized representative of the lime works Ernst Knigge & Co. He was murdered in 1920 during communist unrest in Endorf am Harz .

Jubilee stone

Memorial stone on Frauenweg. Erected by the Barons Knigge on the occasion of their local residence 1312–1912.

Marienstein

The Marienstein stands below the Kammweg in the Deister . It was built in 1852. At that time, King George V of Hanover and his wife Marie visited the Barons Knigge. The stone was erected in honor of the Queen at the place where the excursion company had a picnic.

School zestein

The school zestein erected in 1916 serves to commemorate the district forester Friedrich Schulze (d. 1913). From 1868–1910 he tended the Knigge Forest.

Schnückestein

The Schnückestein can be found near Steinkrug near Bredenbeck. Inscription: The loyal keeper of our forests, the chief forester Richard Schnücke in grateful memory, the barons Knigge . Schnücke lived in the forester's house on the Steinkrug. He worked from 1908 to 1921.
