Gedimino prospektas
The Gediminas is after the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas (1275-1341) named the main street in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . It starts behind the Žvėrynas Bridge and ends on Šventaragio Street. In 1836 the central street was laid out under the name Georgs-Prospekt. It was then called Adomas Mickevičius , Stalin or Lenin Prospect and in 1989 Gediminas Prospect. In the 19th and 20th In the 19th century, the prospectus was provided with the accompanying buildings.
