Gedved Kommune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in what was then Vejle Amt in the east of Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Horsens municipality together with the “old” Horsens Municipality and Brædstrup Municipality (excluding the eastern part of Voerladegård Sogn ) .
Gedved Kommune was created in the course of the Danish administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :

- Kattrup Sogn
- Søvind Sogn
- Tolstrup Sogn
- Vedslet Sogn
- Voerladegård Sogn (southern part)
- Yding Sogn
- Ørridslev Sogn
- Østbirk Sogn
