The Geep Pond is a pond on Bird Iceland in the archipelago of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It lies west of Stejneger Peak in the Bottom Meadow and has an overflow to Payne Creek .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 2012 after a onomatopoeic derivative of the English acronym "GP" for the represented at Bird Iceland Giant Petrel ( English Giant petrel ).
