Gela Weigelt

Gela Weigelt (born March 12, 1950 ) is a German psychologist , educator and non-fiction author .

Life

Gela Weigelt grew up in northern Germany, studied philosophy, psychology and education in Munich and Hanover. In 1987 she received her PhD from what is now Leibniz University in Hanover. phil. PhD. In 1995 she got a professorship at the former Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Hanover .

Teaching

According to his own account, Weigelt combines "approaches from western idealistic philosophy (e.g. Berkeley , Schopenhauer , Hegel ) with eastern wisdom teachings (e.g. Advaita-Vedanta , Daoism , Buddhism ), with the new discoveries of quantum physics and neurosciences " .
