background

The daily soap was produced by Columbia TriStar in Hürth near Cologne. In the industrial area of Hürth-Kalscheuren , a former fruit warehouse was converted into a television studio. But since the series was set in Berlin, the production team had to fly to the German capital every time for the external shoots, which are rarely done for this reason.

Sat.1 had, according to This is life! The Wagenfelds , even with his second attempt to establish a soap opera in the program, failed. Due to a lack of audience ratings, the soap was discontinued after only one year and 250 episodes. The last 10 episodes were broadcast in double episodes.

action

Angie, Michi, Ronnie, Karen and Nadine are student nurses in a fictional Berlin hospital. In addition to their turbulent work and love life, the "TreMono" bar is the evening meeting place for the clique.
