Generations of Jazz is Till Brönner's debut album , released in 1994 on Minor Records. On the album, along with Brönner, alto saxophonist Gregoire Peters and pianist Frank Chastenier play drums with American jazz veteran Ray Brown and Jeff Hamilton .

In addition to jazz standards such as Bye Bye Blackbird , the album mainly contains compositions by Brönner that are oriented towards classic mainstream hardbop and West Coast jazz . He said about the album: ... that's why it would be a record that you could listen to in your car, maybe on Highway 1, the coastal road in California on the way down south.
